I am a devoted student and teacher of hatha yoga. Fifteen years ago, as a health-conscious nutrition student I found that yoga complemented my lifestyle by allowing me to slow down, discover new strength and stability, and balance my body and mind. I completed my first teacher training in 2007 to support my own practice. This opened my eyes to the depth and breadth of what we call yoga. In recent years I have focused my studies on yoga philosophy and therapeutic applications of yoga including functional movement and breathing, mindfulness and mental wellness. Having completed multiple advanced trainings, I offer my students a practice that allows them to develop awareness of their body, breath and mind by meeting them where they are. I enjoy a light-hearted approach, while providing a safe environment for my students’ own self-discovery. I am registered with Yoga Alliance (eRYT 500) and continue to study yoga therapy.

THE ESSENTIAL LOW BACK PROGRAM
This 6-week program, developed by renowned yoga therapist Robin Rothenberg, is based on her work with the two largest studies funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) utilizing yoga for the treatment of lower back pain. Of the study participants, 78% experienced a significant reduction in pain levels. The Essential Low Back Program uses a gentle form of yoga with a strong focus on adaptation, breath development and specific poses to alleviate back pain and prevent its recurrence.
Rates are based on the number of participants and location. Package discounts are available.
